The Maritime Inn is blessed to be located in an amazing place like Gig Harbor - a quaint maritime village that takes you back in time but has the modern attractions that give you endless things to do. The Maritime Inn puts you within walking distance if you want to shop at small unique shops, rent a kayak or power boat, buy hand-made goods or flowers at the local Farmer Market, sample the meals of award winning restaurants or seek out that out of the way place where the locals gather for libations or just sit at the end of the local public dock and watch the people and boats go by. One of our own, Brix 25, was awarded the 2008 Washington Wine Commission "Restaurant of the Year" and we applaud this great achievement. They are a short 5 minute walk from the Maritime Inn. But there are many eateries just a short walk away to tantalize your palate or if you want to stop in and just wet your whistle.
